It’s coming up in June! Following on from 2017, Mittweida University of Applied Sciences will be hosting the Academic Talent Conference (NWK) for the second time on 13 and 14 June 2024.
The Academic Talent Conference (NWK) is an annual event, held since 2000, bringing together young academic talents from Universities of Applied Sciences across Germany. As part of the conference, young researchers will have the opportunity to present their research findings to a wide audience in the form of talks and posters.
The NWK24 website is now live; initial information about the conference is available at
www.hs.mw/nwk24. The pages are updated regularly.

The call for papers is now open. Papers for the conference may be submitted from now until 29 February 2024. The call for papers is aimed in particular at PhD students, research assistants, staff funded by external grants, as well as Master’s students and Master’s graduates who are planning a future career in research.

Please use the Conftool software to submit your papers; further information and the link can be found on the conference website.
Expert reviewers wanted
Submitted papers will be assessed by expert reviewers as part of a peer-review process; the best papers will be accepted for presentation as a talk or poster at the conference.
To assess and categorise the papers within the individual subject areas, all professors at participating universities are invited, with immediate effect, to register as expert reviewers with the conference secretariat; contact details can be found on the conference website.
We look forward to an interesting academic conference and would like to thank you in advance for your cooperation!
